เมืองสุโขทัยเป็นอาณาจักรอันรุ่งเรืองเมื่อครั้งอยู่ภายใต้การปกครองของพ่อขุนรามคำแหง กษัตริย์ผู้ทรงปกครอง ชาวไทยแบบพ่อปกครองลูก ประชาชนมีอิสระในการทำการค้า ก่อให้เกิดภูมิปัญญาในการผลิตสินค้าที่เป็น เครื่องใช้ไม้สอย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ถ้วย จาน ชาม จนเกิดเป็นเครื่องถ้วยสังคโลกที่รู้จักกันมาถึงทุกวันนี้

Sukhothai is the flourishing kingdom under the reign of the King “Pho Khun Ramkhamhaeng”. He was gracious to rule people as father and child. The people had freedom in trading. So, people had highly skilled craftsmanship to make consumer goods especially bowl, dish etc. Until now, we know it well in Sukhothai ceramics or Sangkalok.
